  <title>Frozen Fruit Slush</title>

  <recipeinfo>
    <blurb>
	    My children's mama made this when the kids were younger, but
	    she hasn't made it it for several years. The kids loved it.
	    My mama used to make it for parties and special occasions.
	    It's always been one of my favorites.

  </ingredientlist>

  <preparation>
	  Combine sugar and water in a medium saucepan. Heat until sugar is
	  dissolved. Add orange juice concentrate, lemon juice, and
	  pineapple juice. Stir in the mashed bananas (optional). If you
	  don't like the bananas, it tastes fine without them. Fill 6 or 7
	  ice cube trays with mixture. Freeze until firm. Remove cubes from
	  freezer trays and store in plastic bags. (In the freezer. Duh.)
	  Use within 6 months. Makes about 100 small cubes. To serve, fill
	  a glass with cubes (don't be stingy, now), and then add enough
	  ginger ale to cover. Let stand 15 minutes. Stir and serve.
  </preparation>

  <notes>
	  Instead of using ice cube trays, you can use zip-closure plastic
	  bags. Fill each bag half-full, and squeeze out the air before
	  sealing it. Lay the bags flat in the freezer, with nothing on top
	  of them, until they are frozen solid. From the plastic bags, you
	  can serve the slush in a punch bowl or a pitcher.
